FAQs

Your cruise price includes almost every part of your onboard experience, such as:

While you’re sailing, there are a few optional services and activities that do require an additional charge, including Port Adventures excursions, spa and salon services, babysitting in our ship’s nurseries, onboard photography service, phone calls, video games, alcoholic beverages, and our adults-only dining venues, Palo (aboard all ships) and Remy (aboard the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy).

All Guests (U.S. citizens, residents, and non-U.S. citizens) must have valid government-issued citizenship documentation in order to sail, which may include a valid original Permanent Resident Card ( also known as Alien Registration Card – ARC), passports, and/or necessary visas.

Those without proper citizenship documentation will be denied boarding. U.S. government regulations related to passport requirements are subject to change. Disney Cruise Line strongly encourages U.S. Guests of all ages to have a valid U.S. passport for all cruises. Please visit the U.S. Department of State website at https://travel.state.gov or call the U.S. National Passport Information Center at 877-4USA-PPT for the most current requirements. All non-U.S. Guests must have proper documentation to enter the United States.

More information regarding what is needed to travel to the United States can be found at http://cbp.gov or https://travel.state.gov. It is mandatory for anyone traveling to or transferring through the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program to obtain approval to travel no later than 72 hours prior to travel by completing the online Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) process. Additional information about ESTA can be obtained by visiting https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov.

Unlike other cruise lines, Disney does not offer an alcohol package for purchase. Guests can also purchase alcohol onboard, but it is not included in the cruise fare. Disney does not offer an all-inclusive drink package like some other cruise lines. However, they do provide daily happy hours where select drinks are half-off, and there is a “Drink of the Day” which can be a good deal.

Each Guest 21 years and older may bring two bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750ml) or six beers (no larger than 12oz) at the beginning of the voyage and at each port-of-call. All wine/champagne and beer brought onboard must be hand carried through the security process. Any alcohol packed in checked luggage will be removed and not returned, and no compensation will be offered. Guests are not allowed to bring liquors or spirits (including powdered alcohol) onboard at the start of the cruise. Any liquors or spirits purchased in ports of call will be stored until the end of the cruise. Guest must retrieve any stored alcohol at the end of the cruise. Items not retrieved at end of the cruise will be discarded and no compensation will be offered.

The Disney Dream was built in 2010 and most recently refurbished in 2024. Following the 2024 summer season in Europe, the Disney Dream received some exciting updates this fall upon its arrival at its home port in Fort Lauderdale. Guests can look forward to enhancements such as an updated Oceaneer Club, a brand-new funnel suite, a new concierge lounge and a revitalized spa.

The Disney Dream can accommodate up to 3,500 passengers and 1,400 crew members. It is significantly larger than Disney’s previous ships, with a length of 1,115 feet.

One of the best parts of the Disney Dream is the food! There are so many places to grab a quick bite, nibble on a snack, or dine in refined, world-class restaurants. They even have 24-hour room service. Here is what is on the Disney Dream:

  • Remy – Adults-only French cuisine
  • Palo – Adults-only Italian cuisine
  • Cabanas Buffet – This buffet is massive and has something for every diet and preference. It is open for both breakfast and lunch.
  • Animator’s Palate – Family dining that is animation-themed (complimentary rotational dining)
  • Royal Court – Family dining in the elegant atmosphere of Cinderella’s Castle (complimentary rotational dining)
  • Enchanted Garden – Family dining in Versailles gardens-style surroundings. As the sun sets, the ceiling changes into stars and the flower lighting fixtures close. (complimentary rotational dining)
  • 24-Hour Room Service – Free room service around the clock!
  • Flo’s Cafe – On Deck 11, there is a grill featuring pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and french fries.
  • Ice Cream – All-you-can-eat soft-serve machines are located on Deck 11. Here you can grab an ice cream cone at just about any time of the day.
  • Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats – This cute gourmet ice cream and candy shop has the best milkshakes. Treats here are at an additional cost.
  • Cove Cafe – This little cafe is tucked away in the adults-only section. Specialty liquors with coffee are served here.
  • Preludes – Offers fresh popcorn, candy, and drinks.
  • Drink Stations – On Deck 11, you’ll find the soda, water, coffee, and tea stations that never close. Unlike other cruise lines, soda and juice are always included throughout your trip.

Rotational dining is Disney Cruise Line’s way of ensuring that all Guests enjoy each of the three themed dining venues while on board. Upon arrival, you will receive your restaurant schedule and table number by checking your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Then, you, your tablemates, and your servers will rotate to a different restaurant each evening. As you rotate, the same wait staff—who know your preferences—will serve you each night while you get to experience the unique atmosphere of each dining venue.

As part of the wedding we will be seated together and on the same dining rotation.
